There are lots of ways to make money online and one of them is writing reviews for different products. You see, these days people search for reviews before they buy anything. Amazon products wouldn’t sell so well if they didn’t allow people to post reviews and without their affiliate base. Companies that want to sell stuff on the internet want positive reviews for their products because it increases their sales. This has created a whole new sector for everyday people to make some extra money from home.
So how can you get started? Well there a few different ways to do this. You can set up your own blog and make money blogging about different products. You can also create web 2.0 pages and drive traffic through your affiliate links to products you review or set up simple review landing pages and pay for traffic (Google Adwords)
Most popular way is to have your own blog where you can post reviews and get them ranked in search engine results. For most people this might be actually not as easy as it sounds because you will need to know the ins and outs of SEO. Make sure to read my make money blogging guide to get some good tips on how to get going.
Once you have a blog set up with decent amount of traffic and you have good search engine saturation you can start charging for writing reviews upfront. Some merchants will pay up to $400 per well written review. So as you can see this could quickly turn into a nice monthly passive income if you do 10 of those per month, plus if they have an affiliate program you will continue to get paid for the work done previously.
So how can you find these merchants? If your blog is popular they will find you. But to increase the chance of getting them to pay you make sure you have a page on your site with your advertising rates. Also there are sites where you can register and submit your blog where merchants hang out that want reviews for their products.
For example, ReviewMe.com is one of them. You can quickly register and submit your blog for approval. Once you get your site accepted you can start accepting paid review offers from many different merchants in your niche. ReviewMe has a really nice interface and is very user-friendly. They offer many different payment methods such as check, paypal, or pre-paid debit card. Once your account has a minimum balance of $25 you can get paid.
So you could actually set up multiple blogs or buy existing sites from Flippa.com with some decent traffic and page rank. Then outsource the reviews by hiring some freelancers on Elance.com or Freelancer.com and totally scale this thing up 🙂
Hope this helps
